A hard day...
For those of you who do not know my mother has been in FLorida. Her dear friend of 30+ is fighting cancer and is in the fourth stage. It has been very hard for my mom. She has never been on a plane for that long, never been to Florida, and never missed our birthdays. But she knew she had to go and be with her before she returned home. While in FLorida my mom would sit with Dolores aka Dora all day and sometimes night, and help take care of her. I am so grateful my mom chose to go and be with her one last time. My mother returned home last night very late. She recieved a call this morning saying she had passed on. It has been a very hard lose to our family. Dolores was an amazing women. She was always there for our family. She always puts others before herself and has just a wonderful bubbly personality. She makes friends everywhere she goes. Your memories will always be with us. We love you and miss you and will see you again .
Happy Belated Birthday Mom ( Tribute just for you )
I have been slacking at blogging I know. I was doing so good everyday and then LIFE happened . On January 24th my sweet mother turned 54. She was in Florida with her dear friend Dolores who is in stage 4 of cancer. My mom felt horrible missing jakes, armando, and my birthday, but we all understood and knew she had to be with her dear friend. On her birthday all of us kids got together to celebrate my birthday then we called her on speaker and sang to her. It was so fun and she was so happy. She is so strong and I am so proud of her for going to be with her friend even though it was so hard. I love you mom and again Happy Birthday

My boss/friend Jayleyn is turning 33 on Monday. I wanted to say Happy Birthday and give her a little Tribute. So this post is for her. Jayleyn is a wonderful person and is always there for me when I need her. Thanks for being so great and once again HAPPY 33 BIRTHDAY!!!

Busy Busy..
We have been so busy lately, My sister was staying with us for a while and recently moved out. The home we live in is a bit older so before we do the whole moving room thing we decided to paint and fix a few things to make it a more liveable place. The pictures below are before the paint. I will post the after when everything is done, but it is looking great.

The drive home....
While we were eating, It went from perfect evening to horrible snow storm. It took us 2 hours to drive home. We were going 20 mph on the freeway. Even with our 4 wheel drive on we were still sliding all over the place.. I took a few shots on the way home. Oh and it is not true about people born in the winter loving the snow. I hate snow. I only like looking at it through a window. I hate to touch it, I hate that it is wet, I hate driving in it. Just so you all know lol

Was it worth it.....?
For my husbands 27th Birthday we decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory by Fashion Place Mall. We got there and it was packed. My husband really wanted to go there so I went and put our names on the list. The WAIT was 60-85 minutes. I did ok for the first 30 minutes then I was starting to get very inpatient. Then my poor husband was starting to get cranky because he came straight from work and had not eaten anything all day. WE finally got a table after the 85 minute wait. So the verdict.. The food was great. The service was great and we loved it. I was so shocked my husband liked it so much. He is a chef so he is very picky eater and picks at everything that is wrong everytime we go out. So this is definetly a place we will be going to again :)

Jacobs 19th Birthday get together
It was my baby brother Jacob's birthday today. He turned 19 Happy Birthday Jacob I love you. We had a family get togther, we had taco salad, cake and icecream. Its always fun to get the family together, but we sure do have a big family. My mom is still in Florida so we got to talk to her on speaker phone at the end of the night. The night was a great sucess, My Dad has done such a great job of being mom and dad since my mom has been gone. He got the family together and survived lol. Thank you Jessica for making such a great dinner and cake. Thank you for all who helped clean up. I love you all.

Thomas.....
Today was an exciting day. We went and picked up Martins new THOMAS THE TRAIN BED. My little guy loves Thomas the train and when I saw this bed I knew we had to have it. The look on his face was priceless

My little princess is so smart. She is billengual and very fluent in both English and Spanish. She can't wait to start school this year. Right now she is in Studio K dance academy and has been for 2 years also this is her second year at All American Gymnastics. She is such a girly girl. She loves to dance, sing, tumble, anything girly. This year she wants to add Karate. I was shocked, but am excited for her to learn new things.

After the baptism I took the kids to Mcdonalds. They were so good and patient I had to reward them. They love playing in the playland. They would play for hours if they could. The most embarassing thing happened there when we went. I was talking with my sister and watching the kids play. I could not see Martin for a few minutes and asked Jossilynn to go get him for me. He then came down the slide and I thought nothing of it. Then Everyone was kind of looking at me wierd, but I just kept going on with pictures and letting the kids play. Well come to find out when I was putting Martin in the car his pants felt bare. I asked him where his diaper went and he and his sister explained to me he went poop and wanted to take his diaper off so he pulled his pants down took it off and left it in the playland. I was so embarrassed a little more embarassed looking for a poopy diaper at Mcdonalds. Oh how I love my sweet kids
Family Fun
My oldest nephew recently got baptized. I am so proud of him and his wonderful example to the family. I love you Christopher Justin :). They had a HUGE turn out and it was so fun to see so much family come together for this special day.

Martin has a "different" personality. He knows what he wants and when he wants it. He does not like pictures at all and will let you know it if you try taking a picture of him. He is also a mommies boy. He looks out for me I just love him to pieces. This is the face I got when I tried snapping a picture of him when he "was not in the mood "

Tonka
I love Tonka toys. For Christmas Santa brought a whole bunch of the soft Tonka trucks for my baby. They are so nice. They can be thrown, kicked, smashed and repeatedly slammed into the wall and they are still going strong.Some of them light up, others spin there wheels. My two favorites are the bus and the newest addition the police car. SO much fun

I am turning 24 in 6 DAYS !!! I am not to happy for it. I think I am having the Birthday Blues. I am not excited about turning a year older I am at the point where I would like to stop aging.
My birthday is on the 21st and my husbands is on the 22nd so every year we have a combined birthday which is fun. We usually go out to dinner and a movie on my birthday then on his we have cake and icecream with the families. Our family is expanding so fast we are going to have to start reserving the church to fit everyone. At Martins party you could hardly move in my house and not everyone showed up. You got to love family :)
